We are seeking to fill a Project Manager position in metropolitan Atlanta, GA. The position requires 2 – 5 years of prior professional experience and an MBA with a concentration in Strategy, Business Process, Decision Analysis or Management Consulting. The position requires analytical skills, expertise and the ability to effectively interact at all levels of large corporate organizations. The ideal candidate should be able to take data and formulate sound business decisions through various statistical and quantitative analytics techniques.  An intermediate proficiency of six sigma tools and analysis methodologies (along with all the accompanying statistical tools) is a plus; however, the ability to demonstrate a firm understanding of systems design and engineering is acceptable.  The candidate must exhibit polished oral and written communication skills when engaging colleagues, clients and potential clients. Strong technology and analytical skills are a must, as interpreting, mining and summarizing data to infer meaningful conclusions is a huge part of the job function. The candidate must be organized, confident, self-motivated, willing to learn and able to function effectively with minimal direct supervision. While employee quality of life is important to us, there may be significant amounts of travel required to maintain the appropriate client service levels that our organization prides itself on. Developing and execution of action plans to meet broad SOW deliverable(s).  Leading a team of highly skilled professionals/SME(s) to accomplish objectives without direct management/control through trust and influence.  Leading meetings daily for multiple levels of client's organization, to include executive leadership and front line staff.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
